Meet Nathalie

Nathalie Grand

I am Nathalie, I have been working in Top Fortune 100 companies over the last 15 years. Let us be honest between us, the road was not always straight, I had to learn to navigate the curves and the ups and downs of a challenging professional career in a very competitive setting.

I have always been interested in behavioral science and neuroscience research. What always struck me was the gap that I could feel between the academic sphere and the professional world I was working in. There seems to be no communication pathway between the two.

I work in a very competitive environment and over the years, I have experienced some failures, disappointments and frustrations. I also watched colleagues and friends give up and quit, in some cases with long lasting effects to their health.

I developed my own coping mechanisms and strategies to face everyday stress' but also to learn to strive and balance though everyday demands. I found that the happier I was, the better I was, at my job, as a friend, as a citizen. I realized that the absence of illness or ill-being did not adequate well-being and true happiness.

I became fascinated by what science had to teach us about resilience and human flourishing. So much so that I enrolled at the University of Pennsylvania to study Positive Psychology where I graduated with a CAPP.

My hope is to be able to translate the latest science into practical and actionable tools and to share my experience of everyday life applying them, to be able to flourish and say "yes, I am happy."

Finding my Balance

I also went through difficult phases myself, drowning in increasing amount of work, constantly under stress, always asked to deliver more and slowly cutting myself off my friends and family.

I slowly built my resiliency by reading self-help books, exchanging with trusted friends and colleagues, listening to podcasts and reading research papers on the topic of stress, happiness and resilience and practicing the tools developed by behavioral scientists.

As my interest in this new field grew and as I was seeing the positive effect of my new habits on my everyday life, I decided to undertake different courses in Positive Psychology and Behavioral Science to learn what the latest scientific research had to teach us. I have a MA in Social Sciences, a CAPP from the University if Pennsylvania, I am a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach.

Now I want to share this knowledge with you!

My Mission To You

To translate the essence and latest academic research of behavioral science into everyday actions to become and stay resilient, in spite of daily demands and stress, in order to lead a happier and more fulfilled life.

The greatest source of meaning and purpose in my life is having a positive impact on others: knowing I can positively impact another human being and positively contribute to their life not only makes me feel good in the moment, but is also a big contributor to my overall well-being, and empowers me to continuously be better; as a person, as a friend, and as a colleague.
